Pour On Possibilities: Dry Creek Beds
July 13, 2018Runoff is a landscaper’s nightmare. It pools up and can erode the area or even your home’s foundation, causing long-term damage. Many solve this by using a dry creek bed, which functions as a more aesthetically-pleasing a drainage ditch. By using our gravel binder – Pour On, you’ll keep it nicely set in place while looking great!
How to Create a Dry Creek Bed
Your first step is to spot where the overflowing water travels and figure out where you want to redirect it. Then, all you have to do is dig up the middle portion and use that to top up the sides, thus creating a smooth dip. Reinforce this by adding gravel. You can even add a few large stones placed here and there.
Once everything is all laid out it’s time to Pour On! Simply apply the resin, using two coats for best effect. Allow it to dry and voilĂ , you’re done!
