Pour On Possibilities: Dry Creek Beds

July 13, 2018

Runoff is a landscaper’s nightmare. It pools up and can erode the area or even your home’s foundation, causing long-term damage. Many solve this by using a dry creek bed, which functions as a more aesthetically-pleasing a drainage ditch. By using our gravel binder – Pour On, you’ll keep it nicely set in place while looking great!

How to Create a Dry Creek Bed

Your first step is to spot where the overflowing water travels and figure out where you want to redirect it. Then, all you have to do is dig up the middle portion and use that to top up the sides, thus creating a smooth dip. Reinforce this by adding gravel. You can even add a few large stones placed here and there.

Once everything is all laid out it’s time to Pour On! Simply apply the resin, using two coats for best effect. Allow it to dry and voilĂ , you’re done!

Immediate Benefits

Before Pour On, dry creek beds were at risk of deteriorating due to the movement of water. Pour On ensured that your stones will stay in place and thus increase the effectiveness and maintenance of your creekbed.

Once the application is complete, the resin will be inert and safe for the surrounding plant life while simultaneously reducing weed growth. No more will you have to be concerned with runoff and the structural and environmental damage that so often comes with it. For up to seven years you save on the cost of pollution by keeping the buildup of water and other substances confined to a proper place.

Pour On improves and extends the lifespan and functionality of your yards. For more information, feel free to Contact Us anytime.
